Gregg Eichorn and his wife have nine adopted children in their care, all of whom have special needs. “We get a lot of joy out of life,” Eichorn told WXIX.

Part of this joy is being able to spend fun days together, especially snow days. Two of the kids are in wheelchairs, which makes it difficult for them to go out and have fun with their siblings. Luckily, Dad knew exactly what to do.

He ended up making a wheelchair accessible snow fort for all of the kids to play in. He packed the snow on the ground hard enough for the tires to get across it, and even made a huge igloo so that both of the kids could hang out in there at once!

Eichorn and his wife are appreciative of the outpouring of appreciation, but for him, it was a pretty normal thing to do! They are especially glad for having a platform to talk about adopting kids with special needs.

“Our family is getting kind of full, and it would be great if people stepped up, took on the same roles, and enjoyed the kind of joy that we do.”
